Did you know that each of us has a job?  Jesus is talking to us, His disciples, in Mark 16:15, where He said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”  As Christians, we are supposed to do exactly that.  Spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Does God Really Expect Me to go Everywhere on the Planet and Preach the Gospel?

I don’t necessarily think so.  I do believe we are to preach the Gospel to all the world, but a teenager, for example, is not really able to reach all the world, for obvious reasons.  For most teens, their world revolves around their family, friends, school, maybe some extra circular activities, and maybe a job.  For a priest or pastor, their calling is most likely to preach the Good News to the church they are at, and most likely the community they live in.  With God’s help we can reach the entire portion of the world He intends for us to reach, whether that is one person or 7 billion people.

Let’s look at me for example.  The world for me revolves around my family, close friends, the Greek dance group I am blessed to be a part of, substitute teaching, and the internet.  Talking with my family, friends, and the dance group, is easy.  This blog is the best way that I know how to preach the Gospel to all the world, from my computer.

Are you Going to Heaven?

The bible is very clear in Romans 10:9 which reads, “that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Take a moment now and lets do that.  If you want eternal life in heaven with Jesus and to be a part of His family in heaven please say the below prayer with sincerity and our loud.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, please come into my life.  Please Forgive me of all my sins. I believe that You are the Son of God and You died on the cross and rose from the dead to make a way for me. Thank you for loving me enough to die for me on the cross so my sins can be forgiven. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart. I make you my Lord and Savior. I love you. Thank you Jesus! In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
