Valentine’s day is probably the holiday where the most love is shared between a husband and wife. Hum, what to do this Valentine’s Day. Have any ideas? d Men Ephesians 5:25 reads, “husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it.” Take the time this Valentine’s Day and show your girlfriend or your wife if you are married and your mother you care. Sending flowers to your mother is not something that everyone thinks of on Valentine’s Day, but this year, why not send her flowers and show her that you care. Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year that gives you a whole weekend to celebrate. I know that the economy is tough right now, so you don’t need to go away for the weekend. Make a weekend of it in your home town. Take one day this weekend and spend it with your wife doing things that she likes to do. If you cook, cook your wife dinner either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. If you don’t cook take her to her favorite restaurant one evening. Make sure to bring or send her flowers at work Friday and then have another arrangement sent to her on Valentine’s Day. Don’t know of a good florist? I do; check out Cypress Gardens Flower Shop’s websites. Click here or click here. d Women The amplified bible reads in Ephesians 6:13, “and let the wife see that she respects…her husband…and loves and admires him exceedingly.” Show your husband that you love him this Valentine’s Day. Take one evening this weekend and make him his favorite dinner. Or take a morning and make him his favorite breakfast. Try to take one day this weekend and spend it with him doing things he likes to do. d Couples Don’t let this Valentine’s Day go be without telling your spouse that you love them. Take this whole weekend and just enjoy each other’s company. It is a blessing to have someone in your life to spend special moments with, so make this weekend one that counts.
