This morning in my bible study, God revealed something to me that I really didn’t realize before. Have you ever talked to a non-believer who was very adamantly against Christians? Have you ever met someone who when you mention God or Jesus, they start to feel uncomfortable and tell you something like, “I don’t know about that?” That happens to me every now and then.

In this morning’s bible study I read two chapters in Deuteronomy and two in 2 Corinthians. 2 Corinthians 4:4 reads, “Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.” The second part of that verse reads, “They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.” 2 Corinthians 4:3 reads, “If the Good News is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.”

Notice that the people who are perishing and the people with the blinded mind (2 Corinthians 4:4) are the same group of people. Satan has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe here on earth and therefore they are stuck behind a veil and “do not understand the message about the glory of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:4, the last part). Be aware of that when you are talking, teaching, witnessing, or whatever word you use to describe how you spread the Good News about Jesus Christ.

How can this veil be removed? 2 Corinthians 3:14 reads, “And this veil can be removed by believing in Christ.” That is the only way. They need to believe in Jesus Christ. We who are not blinded by Satan’s lies, etc., must let God use us to witness to people and lead them to Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone,” (The New Living Bible). In the King James, the same verse reads, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Jesus is coming and I have these questions for you:

• If you died right now are you sure would you go to heaven?
• If Jesus comes right now will He take you with Him to heaven?
• Are you saved?
• Are you born again?
• Do you really know our Lord Jesus Christ?

If you answered no to any of these questions please pray this prayer with me so that there is no doubt that you are going to heaven because you will become born again. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven and He rose from the dead on the third day.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to take over my life. I make you my Lord and Savior. Please make me a new creature in Christ and write my name in the Lambs Book of Life. Thank You Father. Your will be done. In Jesus’ mighty Name, I pray AMEN! Thank you Jesus! Glory to Your Name!
