Psalm 23

Psalm 23 is one of the most commonly known psalms if not the most common.  For those unfamiliar with how to find a chapter in the book of psalms, each psalm is its own chapter.  Psalm 23 is a psalm of David.  The bible version that I am reading from today is the Orthodox Study Bible.  I think the way it is translated is very similar to the New King James version.  Psalm 23 1-2 reads, “the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green Read the rest of this entry »

         Just about every night for the past 3-5 years I have read Romans 12.  In my most read bible version, (King James/Amplified parallel bible) this section (chapter 12) is called “Christian Conduct.”  The Orthodox Study Bible and the NIV Study Bible I have divided the Chapter into different sections, but in general I think that “Christian Conduct” covers the entire chapter very well.
