More Faith

Good Morning!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Today I opened my King James and Amplified parallel bible and came across Luke 18:17 where Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, whoever does not accept and receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child [does] shall not in any way enter it [at all].”  The same verse in the Orthodox Study Bible reads it like this, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by Read the rest of this entry »

Family

One Body

         Just about every night for the past 3-5 years I have read Romans 12.  In my most read bible version, (King James/Amplified parallel bible) this section (chapter 12) is called “Christian Conduct.”  The Orthodox Study Bible and the NIV Study Bible I have divided the Chapter into different sections, but in general I think that “Christian Conduct” covers the entire chapter very well.
