Christian Organizations

Whether a ministry, church, TV station, radio station, or business, I feel that as Christians we should support any type of organization that is Christian based.  For example, when you want to send flowers to someone for a birthday, anniversary or whatever occasion, why not give your business to a flower shop owned by Christians such as Cypress Gardens.

Find Out Easy

When I go somewhere many times instead of saying to someone ‘have a nice day,’ I will say ‘have a blessed day.’  Listen to the response you get.  I recently went to a wholesaler’s warehouse to pick something up (something I do from time to time) and usually they are very slow at getting me what I need and they really don’t say anything to me except “sign here” when they bring to me what I am picking up.  I was not particularly fond of using them.  The last time I went there, my attitude changed toward that company. Instead of not communicating with them just like they don’t communicate with me, I told the man, “have a blessed day.”  He almost under his breath said, “you too,” but as I was on my way to my car he stopped me.  He turned around took his glove off to shake my hand and then asked me, “you a Christian man?”  Of course I answered yes.  All of a sudden the man was more pleasant and we had a very short conversation, instigated by him no doubt, but I am almost certain that when I go back there I will not be standing in limbo waiting for this man to help me.

Christian Television?

If you never heard of it, TBN is a Christian television station.  It is the Trinity Broadcasting Network.  Everything on that station has a Christian base.  You can hear evangelists, news, and much more.

Christian Radio?

Reach FM is probably my favorite Christian Radio station.  On Reach FM I have heard sermons, news, talk shows, and of course music.  I like to listen to Christian music.  When I listen to Reach FM it usually is during Ruthie J’s show in the afternoon.  She plays great music.  I must say it is my favorite radio show.  If you are outside Florida or in an area where they do not broadcast you can listen live from their website.

Christians are being attacked in some way or another all across the world.  Jesus said in John 15:18-21, “if the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own.  As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.  That is why the world hates you…They will treat you this way because of My Name, for they do not know the One who sent Me.”  As Christians we need to stick together.  When you want to listen to the radio, go to a store, restaurant, or where ever, try to give your support and or business to an organization with a strong Christian base.

Have a blessed rest of the week.
