Never Alone

The Orthodox Study Bible reads in Deuteronomy 31:8, “but the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid nor be terrified.”

We need to trust in the Lord. If God goes before us and is with us why should we be afraid? Are you about to take a new step in life? Marriage, promotion at work, relocation (are you moving for some reason), etc.? Don’t be afraid or nervous. Pray. As seen above God will never leave you or forsake you.

Marriage is a blessing from God. This is a direction change from single to married. If times get tough, pray and ask God to give you the guidance and direction needed. When times are tough thank God that He is God and for everything you have. Yes, that includes your spouse. Also thank Him that your situation is not worse than it is. When times are great, thank Him for who He is. Thank Him for your spouse. Thank Him for all your blessings. Ask Him to continue to guide you.

Starting a New job? Pray that God will use you to minister to those who need it where you work. Thank Him that you have a job because many don’t have one. Ask Jesus to help you do the best you can at your job and to prosper. Remember God is with you.

Lose your job? Thank God you had it as long as you did. Thank Him for the next door He will open for you. Pray and ask Him to help you find the next door that He has opened for you. Thank Jesus for every blessing you have.

Are you massively in debt? Thank Jesus you are not worse off than you are. Ask Him to help you get out of debt. Trust His guidance. Thank Him that you are one day closer to being debt free. Thank Him for who He is. Remember God will never leave you. Trust in Him. Thank Him. Pray.

The list can go on and on. No matter what direction you are going, keep God in your life. Ask God to help you to stay on the narrow path that leads to righteousness and to be one of the few who find it (Matthew 7:14). Thank God for everything. Ask Him for help, guidance, etc. NEVER FORGET He will never leave you or forsake you. Accept Him as your Lord and savior today so you can be part of His family in heaven. Please read the below prayer out loud and from your heart.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, please come into my life. Forgive me of all my sins. I believe that You are the Son of God and You died on the cross and rose from the dead to make a way for me. Thank you for loving me enough to die for me on the cross so my sins can be forgiven. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart. I make you my Lord and Savior. I love you. Thank you Jesus! In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.

Now that you have prayed this, I believe you are born again (John 3:3) and you will have eternal life in heaven. Remember Romans 10:9 which reads, “that if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Confess Jesus is Lord and always believe God rose Him from the grave. May the Lord, God, The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob bless you always. AMEN!

WAIT! DON’T leave without checking out our study on Luke 5.

Thanks for these uplifting words! When I arise in the morning the first thing I do is thank Jesus for my day. I believe it’s important to stop and just thank Him for who He is and what He has blessed us with. God is an AWESOME God!
