Everything is Possible for Those That Believe. Mark 9:23

By the time Job 19 takes place, the devil killed Job’s children, killed off his wealth and made him full of boils, etc. Job, to my knowledge doesn’t know of the conversation between God and the devil, nor what his own outcome will be. One thing that Job does, I found interesting when I read it. That is in Job 19:25, which reads, “for I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at a latter day on this earth,” (King James Version). He knew that no matter what happened to him, his redeemer (God) was alive and well. He also knew that if his life was taken, that he would be in heaven with God, (Job 19:26). Something else, I didn’t know was in Job, is in the second part of this verse. He said, “and that He shall stand at a latter day on this earth.” Jesus later did stand on this earth. He is God the Son, Jesus Christ. No matter what happened to Job, whether it be losing some of his family (his children), his wealth, his health, some, most, or all of his friends, or had trouble with his wife, he knew that our God is an awesome God and would deliver him. He believed that no matter what his redeemer lives (God). Job stood firm. I am pretty sure that your circumstance is not as bad as that, but I am not judging. Even if it is, stand firm in Jesus Christ, because he has the power to heal you and take care of the situation. Our God is an awesome God. He is a magnificent God. We need to give Him praise and glory every day of our lives. Please visit a previous post entitles “Awesome God” before you leave. Also if you have a prayer request please leave me a comment and I will pray for you and post something so that others may join in as well. There is power in prayer and if we join together in prayer there will be two or more of us and Matthew 18:20 reads, “for where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them,” (NIV version copied from biblegateway) |
