Hating Wrong

Romans 12:9 reads, “Hate what is wrong.” I think that this is pretty straight forward.

We should turn away from what it wrong and have nothing to do with it. If we know something we are doing is wrong, run from it. Pray that Jesus helps in this area. It may not happen instantly, but with God’s grace, He will help you.

When you realize what you are doing wrong is wrong, and you ask God for help, don’t think that it is instant. The devil wants you to keep doing wrong so he will keep throwing things at you to tempt you. It may be instant, but if it is not and you are put back in that situation, trust God to help you and ask Him to help you so that you do the right thing, His will. Trust in the Lord and I believe that He will help you.

We all should try to do what is right, but again, we are humans and will make mistakes. God loves each of us no matter what, but He does not always like what we do. Do your best to hate what is wrong and do your best not to do wrong things.
