I know on Monday you are expecting a verse of the week, but I will post that tomorrow morning.  Nest week it will be back to Mondays.  According to what I have heard and figured out about time and the bible, the earth shouldn’t be older than 15000 years. If this is true, then how can scientists say that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and that the earth is millions of years old? This interested me and then my Uncle told me to read Genesis 1:1-2. Lets take a look at it. In the New Living Bible it reads, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.”

If the time-line that people have figured out from the bible is true (which I believe that it is) then that leaves two solutions. One that scientists carbon dating process is inaccurate, or that something existed before the time as we know it. I am not going to start an argument by saying scientists are wrong, but I will say that there is no way to absolutely prove the age of dinosaurs, etc. because there is no possible way for them to go back in time and prove it. Whether their dates are accurate or not I do not know, but I do know that you should look closely at Genesis 1:1-2 pay attention to what is going on.

Again Genesis 1:2 reads, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.”

What is going on here?  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Okay that makes sense.  Verse 2 is what doesn’t fit.  Why would God create a formless and empty earth?  In the King James Bible Version the wording in verse 2 is, “the earth was without form, and void.”  I think that there is a time gap between verse one and two.  If there is a time gap between verse one and two then that would be where all the scientific dates come from when they talk about when dinosaurs lived etc.

If the earth is formless, or without form, whichever way you want to look at it, something must have happened.  When I was discussing this with my uncle, he explained it to me that when the war between God and the devil happened, the earth got destroyed.  That made more sense to me. Some, or many, or even all the dinosaurs could have been part of the war or they may not have. Many if not all of them are described as being ferocious aren’t they?

I do not have all the answers, but I know that we are to have the faith of a child. Mark 10:15 reads, “I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Who is write about dinosaurs and the earth’s age isn’t important, but what is important is that we receive the Kingdom of God like a child. Accept Jesus today and become born again. This IS the MOST IMPORTANT thing that you will ever do. If you want to live in heaven with Jesus and have eternal life, please pray the below prayer from your heart.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven.  Please forgive me of all my sins.  I believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to take over my life.  I make you my Lord and Savior.  Please make me a new creature in Christ and write my name in the Lambs Book of Life.  Thank You Father.  Your will be done.  In Jesus’ mighty Name, I pray AMEN!  Thank you Jesus!
