I have been reading Job for the last few days or maybe a week or so and I must say if you think you got it bad, I bet his life at that time was worse. He lost his kids, his wealth, and even his health. The amazing part of it all was that He never lost his faith. Job never turned from God. No matter what his friends or even his wife said, he remained faithful. What ever you are going through, trust in God. He has the power to fix everything. Jesus is coming soon and I have these questions for you:
If you answered no to any of these questions please pray this prayer with me so that there is no doubt that you are going to heaven because you will become born again. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven and He rose from the dead on the third day. Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to take over my life. I make you my Lord and Savior. Please make me a new creature in Christ and write my name in the Lambs Book of Life. Thank You Father. Your will be done. In Jesus’ mighty Name, I pray AMEN! Thank you Jesus! Glory to Your Name! Last night my mother and I watched Left Behind II Tribulation Force. I have seen the first one and plan to watch the third one. After Jesus comes back to take those of us who are born again into heaven, the earth will go through the tribulation. This is not something I want to be around for. Thank God that He is taking me to heaven. It is pretty scary to see what is going to happen and how the Antichrist will manipulate the minds of many. I want to encourage each of you to watch that series of movies sometime next week. After you have watched them please let me know what you think. I believe that God loves me and that He sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, here to earth to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven. I believe that on the third day He resurrected and is alive to this day. Jesus is my Lord and Savior yesterday, today, and forever. Please don’t be left behind; be ready to go when Jesus comes back. I recently read Romans 6 – Romans 8 in the New Living bible and I think that this was the most powerful message I have read in a long time. Romans 6:11 reads, “So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:14-15 reads, “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!” We are dead to sin because we were crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20), but we are are alive Read the rest of this entry » This morning I was studying in Deuteronomy and in 2 Corinthians. Deuteronomy 28 was kind of a scary chapter. Thank God we are dead to the law (Romans 7:4) and we are dead to sin (Romans 6:11). What changed? God is the same as He was then. The difference is now Jesus (His only begotten Son) came and paid the price for all our sins. Thank God. I believe that the law itself is holy because it came from God, but I can not see how it is possible to keep the whole thing in its entirety. Thank God that He sent Jesus to fulfill the law. Thank God that I am dead to sin, but alive Read the rest of this entry » I know I haven’t been posting in a while, but I logged on and saw, thank God that I have more readers than I thought. I have come to the conclusion that I have too many blogs. I am going to be combining my blog – http://Lead-A-Christian-Life.blogspot – with this one. I want to welcome all you new readers to this blog who have been following Lead and I hope you enjoy this site. More will be coming to this blog including more Bible Trivia levels. Since I got laid off last February, I have been substitute teaching. There is a lot of patients required to do that. God has shown favor to me by giving me enough jobs to pay the bills and have a little left over for some fun stuff here and there. I trust in the Lord my God with all my heart and He always provides Read the rest of this entry » Just before I wrote this post I found something that I didn’t expect to. Romans 13:6 reads, “Pay your taxes.” I had no idea that this was worded so plainly. Again in Romans 13:7 the bible reads, “Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them.” Paying your taxes is not something most people look forward to. Actually, for me this is the first year I am Read the rest of this entry » Many people tell me that they do not read Christian blogs. I have noticed on this site that many people come and bounce right out of it. Why is that? Although I agree that it is true there are many blogs that claim to be a Christian blog, but in fact are misleading, deceiving and teaching things that aren’t true, there many good Christian Blogs that provide a way for you to participate with someone or a group of people during the week in a bible study, bible teaching, etc. considering that you usually only attend Church 0-2 times a week at most. We need to keep Jesus in our lives every day, not just on Sundays. Reading Christian blogs is one way to hopefully get a dose of something good each day, although I feel that nothing beats a person spending time alone with God each day and part of that maybe being a bible study. Being in the world today I feel that it is important to keep a Christian environment for yourself as much as possible. I recently graduated from college and the amount of trash (especially in Religious Analysis classes) that Universities throw at students is appalling. I had a horrible experience in a Religious Analysis class that left me in a mess for a while. I think if I were reading or following a Christian Blog then, I would have had just one more thing to help me stay in a strong relationship with Jesus. If you are unsure if a blog is a true, good Christian Blog, read a few posts and see what you think. If you can not tell which Christian Blogs are good and which Christian Blogs are not so good, feel free to leave me a comment with the blog and I will try to check it out quickly for you and leave a reply to your comment. Yes I want you to read my blog, you can always read more than one. I just wanted to say thanks to all who read and follow this blog. Today is my mother’s birthday. Hopefully we will get to celebrate somehow. I know that my grandmother and aunt are taking her out to breakfast which is nice. Birthday’s are a time to celebrate Read the rest of this entry » I know Monday’s you expect to read this weeks verse of the week and it is posted just below this post. As many know, Haiti has been severely devastated by that earthquake. We as Christians should definitely pray for them. In addition Read the rest of this entry » |
