The NIV bible reads in Romans 10:9-10, “that if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ”

Are you saved?  Do you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead?  Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord?  I have.

Why do we need to confess with our mouths?

Although there may be more than one answer, one is in Romans 10:13, which reads in the King James Version, “for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  How can you call upon the name of the Lord if you do not use your mouth.

If you are unsure whether or not you are going to heaven lets pray right now.  Please make sure to say the prayer out loud and from your heart.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven.  Please forgive me of all my sins.  I believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to take over my life.  I make you my Lord and Savior.  Please make me a new creature in Christ and write my name in the Lambs Book of Life.  Thank You Father.  Your will be done.  In Jesus’ mighty Name, I pray AMEN!  Thank you Jesus! Glory to Your Name!

Congratulations!
