One thing that to this day I do not understand is why some Christians believe the theory of evolution.  Since we have been blogging about God creating the earth, lets look at Genesis 1:20-22.  In the New Living Bible it reads, “Then God said, ‘Let the waters swarm with fish and other life.  Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.’  So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird-each producing offspring of the same kind.  And God saw that it was good.  Then God blessed them, saying, ‘Be fruitful and multiply.  Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.’  And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day.”

Right there it says God created birds, and sea animals.  No where does it say God caused them to evolve.  Not that I agree, but non-Christians I can see believing such nonsense, but not bible believing born again Christians.

I actually had two people who are saved tell me that they believe in God and they are saved, but they think we evolved and were not created.  This shocks me.

I am happy that Jesus died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven and we need to accept Him and make Him our Lord and Savior.  That said, where we came from really isn’t an eternal life threatening concept, but I don’t want to lead people down the wrong path either.  If you want eternal life in heaven with Jesus please pray the below prayer out loud and from your heart.  This is the prayer to become born again and saved.

Dear Father I pray in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross so that my sins can be forgiven.  Please forgive me of all my sins.  I believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to take over my life.  I make you my Lord and Savior.  Please make me a new creature in Christ and write my name in the Lambs Book of Life.  Thank You Father.  Your will be done.  In Jesus’ mighty Name, I pray AMEN!  Thank you Jesus! Glory to Your Name!

Congratulations!
